The world is in trouble with COVID-19. Following the Japanese government instruction, Oita university decided to quit the graduation ceremony. Instead, we held a scaled-down ceremony on campus without a party in honor of professors. I threw up first bachelor course students. But no one has gone from lab., because they all proceed to graduate school under my supervision. I wish their further growth in graduate school. I’m looking forward to receiving new bachelor course students from April, but the situation is getting worse day by day. I hope that the world gets out of confusion, then return to steady-state soon.
